The Big Kiss

Billy Zane and Karina Lombard hold the principal roles. The film had a budget of Ten Million Euros. Filming ended around March 2003, at which time the film would go to the big screen in about one year. A schedule release date for Sweden in Spring 2004. Since this is a foreign film, it is still unknown if there will be a US release date or will it go directly to DVD. Film Summary: Billy
(Billy Zane) and Liz (Karina Lombard) are international war
correspondents, covering the dark and dirty side of television news reporting,
often in considerable danger. Liz tired of this chaotic existence and in an
abrupt lifestyle change joins “Big Kiss”, a frothy, feel good entertainment
show. There is no place for Billy in her new world, so feeling hurt, he retires
to the South of France where he makes a living covering local news stories.
Events, however, conspire to re-unite Billy and Liz when they film a magnificent
Russian diamond called the Black Bear, on show at a Nice museum. A major
heist happens under their noses, without either of them being aware of it at the
time. Billy accidentally acquires the missing gem, drawing he and Liz into a
dangerous game of hide and seek with a strange Russian Colonel. The Colonel
and his goons kidnap Liz, leaving Billy to retrieve the diamond with the
unwilling assistance of one of the Russian goons. They form an unlikely alliance
and their chase takes in some of the most stunning scenery the South of France
